Cory Noonan was born in Allen County and raised on a family farm in Delphos. Cory graduated from Delphos St. Johns and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University.
After earning his degree, Cory served as a legislative aide for two members of the Ohio House of Representatives. In this role, he researched and drafted policy regarding the state’s biennial budget, agriculture and environmental issues.
In 2004, Cory was asked to serve as the policy director for the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Cory was responsible for all policy matters concerning Ohio’s agriculture industry. He helped draft the department’s budget and worked with the state legislature on issues involving the department’s regulatory role.
Beginning in 2007, Cory worked in Congressman Jim Jordan’s Lima office, serving as Deputy District Director. In this role, Cory worked with local governments, business leaders, civic organizations, economic development representatives and individuals from Allen and surrounding counties on issues involving the federal government.
Cory and his wife, Dionna, have two children, Zachary and Alexa.
